Dozens of grade X students from SMK Sahid Jakarta held an industrial visit or orientation program at the Beritajakarta office, the Jakarta Provincial Government's official news website of the Jakarta Provincial Government yesterday, Tuesday (9/24).

SMK Sahid Jakarta's Visual Communication Design (DKV) Expertise Concentration Chairman, Albem Nurdi explained the industrial orientation program is mandatory for class X students to know the field of work that they will work in the future.
"Today, we conducted visits to three locations, namely Bank Indonesia (BI) Museum, Jakarta Smart City (JSC), and Beritajakarta office," he explained.
He continued the visit to the Beritajakarta office was related to the industry or field, namely broadcasting and graphic design, following the educational concentration currently being taken by class X students of SMK Sahid Jaya's DKV Department.
"Besides discussing with practitioners in the broadcasting and graphic design fields, industry orientation participants had the opportunity to see the visual studio space of Beritajakarta.tv firsthand," he continued.
He hoped that the experience gained as a result of this active industrial orientation would mean that students.
"They are also more challenged to be more active in exporting in the field they are studying and to prepare mentally for the field of work they will be involved in in the future," he hoped.
One of the grade X students in the Visual Communication Design Field, Shakira admitted that the industrial visit to the Beritajakarta website office was very inspiring.
"From this visit, I learned more about the work areas within the news agency and the applicable work mechanisms," she said.
